Glass Store Elevator for Commercial Use

For D&R Store’s Altunizade branch, located on Bağdat Avenue in Istanbul, we collaborated with specialized architects to create SNC Glass, which stands out with its varied color options and extensive usage capacity.

With a capacity of 800 kg and dimensions of 220 cm x 190 cm, this product was manufactured to high standards, specifically designed to withstand heavy use. The hydraulic transport system's machinery was produced in Italy and Switzerland to ensure reliable performance at this capacity, while all remaining components were manufactured locally in our workshops at the same level of quality and seamlessly integrated into the main system.

As part of an architect-designed project, we followed step-by-step architectural guidance in developing this elevator. In this respect, the product serves as a custom adaptation of SNC Glass, aligning with D&R’s brand identity. The panoramic glass design, which enables a seamless store experience, the red steel tower modules, and the elevator shaft positioned at the same level as the adjacent bookshelves to maintain architectural symmetry are among the key standout details of this project.
